Great Product!

This beading loom is great to have when you’re into different kinds of beaded jewelry, be it weaving with seed beeds, stringing beads, or working on chains. I use it as a string holder/bead stopper when stringing beads so I don’t have to use the “bead bugs” or bead stoppers. It has also made me work on chains a lot easier especially when I’m using the twisted chains. Anchoring both ends of your work piece on the loom such that it hangs stretched accross it gives you more access to your piece from all directions, above, under, both sides, and you can turn the whole thing to whatever position you want. Great help!

Great for beginners.

The Beadalon Beading Loom is a great tool for BEGINNERS learning to weave with seed beads. I was a beginner when I purchased the product and it was a great way to learn, but I quickly found the product to lack in several areas. I found it to be to short (the length of the weave did not wrap around my wrist) until I pulled the bars back, but this only helped somewhat. The maximum width is considerably narrow – only 24 beads. If you are looking for a simple tool to start with its fantastic – if you’re looking for something you can experiment more with I would suggest looking at larger/longer/wider weaving frames.

Frustration with a capital F

This loom actually is what it says it is-a loom. Once assembled, it is well designed, sturdy, and performs as promised. I can not blame the product because I found missed threads in my finished peice. If nothing else, this product taught me to be careful and diligent with every bead and row of beads. It taught me to plan each peice and consider how I would handle the warp threads before I cut the thread too short. Most of all, it motivated me to learn peyote, brick, box, and daisy stitches that I can do without it.
